Missy Steinbock has been a freelance musician and professional teacher in the Denver metro area for 19 years. Education BME from the University of Colorado MSCIT from Regis University. Experience She taught instrumental music at St. Mary's Academy for five years. Responsible for creating the first ever wind and percussion program. Currently on staff at Littleton's Arapahoe High School as the department's professional trumpet instructor. Has held that position since 1995. The Arapahoe High School trumpet sections are well known for their high rankings and accolades received from various state wide competitions. Missy is also currently serving as the brass specialist for Littleton Public School District. Responsibilities as a brass specialist include the instruction of all 6th grade low brass, french horn, trombone and trumpet students at Littleton's four middle schools Missy has maintained a private studio in the Littleton area for 11 years. She offers instruction on all brass instruments including trumpet, french horn, baritione, trombone, and tuba.   Many of Missy's private students have been selected to perform in the All State Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Ensembles as well as state university honor bands.
