- B.A. in Music Education from UNC in Greeley, Colorado, 1960.
- M.A. in Music Education from UNC in Greeley, Colorado, 1963.
- PhD. in Music Education and Supervision from the University of Iowa, 1970.
(Holds Lifetime Teaching Certificates in both Colorado and Iowa)
Experience
- A music teacher (elementary and secondary) in the Littleton Public School District beginning in 1960, Dr. Boley retired from the district in 1990.
- He has been teaching music privately since 1987.
- In military service with the U.S. Navy, he attended the Navy School of Music and served in the Navy C.I.N.C.P.A.C. Admiral's Band stationed in Hawaii. During that time, he also performed in several dance band combos.
- When in college, as well as during most of his adult life, he continued to perform in various dance bands in the Colorado area. He was a founding member of the Littleton Community Music Association in 1994 and continues to donate time performing with its groups for various civic functions.
Dr. Boley is currently available to tutor music students of all ages Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at Acchord Music Studios located at 6574 South Broadway in Littleton.
